Do you love slow mornings in new cities, chasing shoulder seasons, and sharing the kind of travel advice you wish someone had given you? We would love to hear from you. Best Time to Visit HQ welcomes guest contributors who can help our readers find the perfect season for every destination.
Who can write
We work with travel writers, bloggers, photographers, and passionate travellers who have genuine first-hand experience of the places they write about. You do not need to be a professional journalist — you just need a clear voice, honest opinions, and practical knowledge our readers can trust.
Topics we accept
- Destination seasonal guides – when to visit a city, region, or country, and why, including weather, crowds, prices, and festivals.
- Hotel reviews – honest, first-hand reviews of hotels you have actually stayed in, with notes on location, value, and the best time to book.
- Travel tips – practical advice on planning, packing, budgeting, solo travel, and travelling in shoulder or off-season.
Contributor guidelines
- Original content only. Your article must be unpublished elsewhere and written in your own words. We check every submission for originality.
- Word count: 800–1,500 words for guides and reviews; shorter pieces are welcome for tips.
- Images: include 3–5 high-quality images you own or have the right to use, with a short caption for each. Please confirm the image credits with your submission.
- Tone: friendly, helpful, and honest — like advice from a well-travelled friend.
- We may lightly edit for clarity, length, and house style. By submitting, you grant us the right to publish and promote your article on this site.
How to pitch
Send your idea or finished draft to besttimetovisithq@gmail.com with the subject line “Guest post pitch”. Include a short bio (2–3 sentences), any relevant links, and, for hotel reviews, the dates of your stay. We reply to every pitch, usually within one week.
